InfraSpec Optics manufactures infrared optics and operates five coating chambers under ISO 9001. We also buy and sell specified optics into commercial, medical, industrial-laser and CO2-laser programs — the same RFQ, a clear answer on what we make versus what we source.
What we do.
Infrared is manufactured here: windows, lenses and coatings on ZnSe, germanium, silicon, ZnS, chalcogenide and the rest of the IR set, finished in one of five coating chambers. Visible and UV catalogue parts, and some laser-head consumables, are distributed — purchased to print and supplied into the same four markets.
Markets we sell into: commercial, medical OEM, industrial laser and CO2 laser. Medical is a customer sector, not an ISO 13485 claim. If a drawing is IR, we fabricate and coat. If it is a specified catalogue or OEM drop-in, we source it.

A one-off perfect part is easy. We optimise for the hundredth batch matching the first article — locked recipes, controlled process, recorded results.

Vertically aligned sourcing with a qualified global network and inventory-based fulfilment on repeat parts, so a material shortage upstream is not your problem.
Straight technical answers
If germanium is wrong for your operating temperature, or your tolerance is buying you nothing, we say so at quote — not after the first article fails.
