Quality · Program year 2026

Qualify once.
Hold the recipe.

Infrared manufacturing and coating run under ISO 9001, across five coating chambers. Repeat production only works if the process is controlled, measured and recorded. Every stage carries inspection, and every batch carries its history.

Inspection

What we measure.

Interferometric inspection

Figure and flatness verified against the drawing — λ/4 typical, λ/10 achievable where the design demands it.

Spectrophotometric verification

Transmission and reflection measured against the approved curve, with the trace supplied alongside the parts.

Witness samples

Coating validation, first article inspection and qualification packages — coated in the same run as your parts.

Batch & lot traceability

Material lot, fabrication batch and coating run recorded per shipment, so a field question has an answer.

Process control

What happens to every part.

The same sequence runs whether it is a first article or the two-thousandth repeat — that consistency is the product.

  1. Incoming inspection

Surface quality, flatness and figure, edge and chamfer condition, coating compatibility.

  2. Precision cleaning

Controlled pre-deposition cleaning — the single biggest driver of coating yield.

  3. Controlled deposition

Environment and recipe held to the qualified process, with witness samples in the chamber.

  4. Interferometric verification

Post-process figure confirmed before anything is released.

  5. Spectrophotometric T/R

Measured performance checked against the approved curve.

  6. Final inspection & record

Inspection per optical standards, results recorded against the batch.

Certifications & compliance · 2026

The paperwork behind the parts.

ISO 9001 covers infrared manufacturing, coating and the distribution of specified optics into commercial, medical, industrial-laser and CO2-laser programs. We do not claim ISO 13485. Medical is a market we supply, not a device-QMS certificate.

Qualification support

Bringing an optic into a regulated medical device or a validated industrial process means paperwork as much as parts. We supply witness samples, first article inspection and the measurement records your qualification package needs.
