Collimate the source you actually have.

A catalogue ZnSe sphere is the wrong collimator for a 4.6 µm QCL with fast-axis NA ~0.7 and astigmatism. We quote aspheres, thermal camera objectives and fiber collimators from the source parameters — not from a focal-length list.

QCL aspheres

Molded chalcogenide or diamond-turned ZnSe/Ge aspheres for collimation, focusing and fiber coupling. Fast-axis NA and astigmatism belong on the RFQ — a spherical singlet will leave power on the table.

Thermal camera lenses

Fixed EFL and dual-FOV assemblies for uncooled microbolometers (8–14 µm) and cooled MWIR cameras. f-number, pixel pitch and FPA size set the design — send those, not only “25 mm lens.”

Fiber collimators

Aspheric glass in FC/PC, FC/APC or SMA905 housings for VIS/NIR coupling and collimation. For IR fiber (chalcogenide, PIR) the collimator substrate has to transmit the same band as the fiber.

FTIR crystal optics

KBr and NaCl imaging and condenser elements for FTIR microscopes, plus build-to-print crystal windows. Hygroscopic — packaging and storage notes go on the quote.

Custom optomechanics

Barrel, spacer and retaining-ring sets to print. We can coat and mount customer glass, or supply the optic and the cell together so centration is one lot.

Drop-in replacements

If you already have a commercial collimator P/N, send it. We quote equivalent EFL, NA, AR and mount — we do not reverse-engineer a competitor’s coating curve without a measured sample.
